UPSC 2022 Vacancies increased to 1011, IRMS added 150 Vacancies: There is great news for the aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also included 150 vacancies of newly created Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS Group A) in the existing 861 vacancies of Civil Services Examination 2022. That is, now through the Civil Services Examination 2022 (UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022), a total of 1011 posts will be recruited. In the notification issued by UPSC on February 2 for the Civil Services Examination 2022, there were only 861 vacancies.

Let us tell you that recently a cadre IRMS Group A was formed by merging 8 services of Railways. Now the recruitment will be done through Civil Services Examination. Recently its notification was issued. The merger of these cadres was discussed after the cabinet meeting of 24 December 2019.
